One horoscope read on four different instruments at once
WHY ONE CHART IS NOT ONE READING
A chart looks like a single picture, but the app reads it on four registers at once; four different questions asked of the same sky. Confusing them is the commonest way a reading goes wrong: a force that belongs to one register gets mistaken for an answer that only another register can give. Keeping them distinct is what lets the chart stay a description of the soul's work rather than a verdict on it.
REGISTER 1; THE FORM-REGION (GEOCENTRIC SIGNS)
The first register is the geocentric sign: the form-principle a force is coloured by. This is the karmic form-region the soul's development passes through; the KIND of force at work, read against the tropical form-zodiac (Layer A). A placement here can be read as the quality of a developmental task, never as a fixed trait. Confidence: stated-to-synthesis, grounded in the sphere-passage doctrine (GA 208) and the living-zodiac teaching (GA 102).
REGISTER 2; THE FIELD OF PRACTICE (GEOCENTRIC HOUSES)
The second register is the geocentric house: WHERE in an earthly life a force lands; relationship, vocation, home, and the rest. Houses and signs are orthogonal, never synonyms: the sign is the kind of force, the house is the arena it plays out in. The app frames a house not as a compartment of fate but as a field of practice; a domain of life where a particular work is being done. Confidence: synthesis (the house-as-life-domain framing is conventional; reading it as a field of practice rather than fate is the anthroposophical reframing).
REGISTER 3; THE I'S OWN INTENTION (HELIOCENTRIC)
The third register shifts the centre from Earth to Sun. Heliocentric placements can be read as the I's own spiritual intention; the purpose carried across incarnations, lying beneath the terrestrial descent that the ordinary geocentric chart shows. Where Register 1 shows the form a soul takes on in descending, Register 3 asks what the I meant to do. Confidence: hypothesis; the doctrine treats this register as a working proposal, not a claim resting on a single stated source.
REGISTER 4; READING ACROSS THREE CHARTS
The fourth register is not a fourth kind of placement but a discipline of method: the three-chart reading. A soul's situation is drawn not from the birth chart alone but from three; the configuration at the previous death (the Death Asterogram), a chart of the epoch between lives, and the birth chart itself. Register 4 is the reminder to read Registers 1 through 3 across all three, so that a birth placement is seen as the outcome of a longer journey rather than a starting point from nowhere. Confidence: synthesis, after the astrosophical three-chart methodology.
