TWO WAYS OF LOSING THE WORLD
A person can rise into an image of spiritual importance and lose contact with ordinary evidence, embodiment, and other people. A person can also harden experience into mechanism, calculation, and fixed determination until meaning and freedom disappear. These are not labels for people. They are tendencies that can appear in any life.
THE WORK OF THE I
The human middle is not a compromise between imagination and exactness. It is the active work of the I: receiving a picture, testing it against what happened, listening to its consequences, and allowing a deed to transform the first understanding.
Astrosophy needs both poles. Astronomical calculation protects spiritual language from vagueness. Spiritual imagination keeps measurement from becoming the whole meaning of a human life.
A DAILY PRACTICE
Before accepting an interpretation, write what was actually observed. After accepting it provisionally, ask what it changes in speech, work, relationship, or responsibility. If it makes the reader more grandiose, fearful, or passive, the picture needs correction.
