HUMAN CONSTITUTION
The physical, etheric, astral, and I organizations form the fourfold foundation. In the ninefold picture, body, soul, and spirit are differentiated further. These are general constitutional pictures; your individualized configuration remains in Microcosm.
ETHERIC AND ASTRAL INDICATIONS
The Body of Formative Forces
A subtler body interpenetrating the physical one, of approximately the same size and form. Anthroposophy describes it as the field of life-currents that maintain growth, renewal, and rhythm; present in everything that lives, not only in the human being. Esoteric literature speaks of it developing three centers of activity through inner schooling: one near the head, one near the larynx, and one in the region of the heart, through which its currents are said to become more consciously ordered over a lifetime of inner work.

Form; the shape and gesture of thoughts and natural law, seen as living, mobile figures.
The sixteen-petalled lotus at the larynx, as pictured in anthroposophical literature, represents the soul's capacity to perceive thought-forms as living, gestural presences—the subtle shapes and movements through which ideas and natural laws reveal themselves. Rather than grasping concepts as static definitions, this organ is said to behold them as dynamic, breathing figures that express universal principles through their very form and motion. The description offers an image of thinking itself transformed into direct perception, where the boundary between observer and observed dissolves into a single act of contemplation.
